Built to hold the most private numbers you have.
What Panorama does to keep your money's records safe — each point a mechanism in the product, not a promise on a page.
Read-only, by design
Panorama reads balances and transactions. It cannot pay, transfer, trade or initiate anything, and the access it holds to your bank cannot either.
Your bank password is never ours
You sign in at your bank through the bank-data provider; Panorama receives read-only access, never your bank credentials.
Sealed secrets
Every connection's access token is envelope-encrypted, so a stolen database backup carries ciphertext and nothing that opens an account.
Passkeys, not passwords
You sign in with a passkey — your phone's or your computer's — or an authenticator code. There is no password to steal or reuse.
Private inside a household
Each person chooses, per account, what the others see: everything, the balance only, or nothing — enforced by the database itself, row by row, not by the screen.
Encrypted in transit
Every page and every request is served over HTTPS with HSTS; the site loads nothing from anyone else's servers.
Backups that are proven
Backups are encrypted and copied off the server, and an automated drill restores one and checks it before it counts.
Every change recorded
Every change to your books is written to an audit log: who, what, when — and a category set by a rule says which rule.
Leave, and it is gone
Export everything in open formats whenever you want. Delete your household and it is deleted.
Who handles your data
Panorama is made and run by 8th Wave Media LLC. To work, it relies on a small number of service providers:
- A bank-data provider, which connects to your bank with your permission and passes read-only data to Panorama.
- A payment processor, which takes your subscription payment. Your card number goes to them, never to us.
- A hosting company and a network provider, which run the servers and carry the traffic.
None of them may use your data for their own purposes. None of them is paid with it.

Your money, kept the way you would keep it.
