My FinancialPanorama
FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

If yours is not here, write to [email protected] — a person answers.

Does Panorama move my money?

No. It reads. It cannot pay, transfer, trade or start anything, and the access it holds to your bank cannot either.

How does it connect to my bank?

Through a bank-data provider: you pick your bank, sign in at your bank, and Panorama receives read-only access. Your bank password is never given to us. You can also import CSV, OFX and QFX files or statements, or keep an account by hand.

Is my data sold or used for ads?

Never. No advertising, no data brokering, no selling your transactions to anyone, in aggregate or otherwise. You pay for Panorama; that is the whole business.

What does $5 a month get me?

Everything about your own money: safe to spend, bills and paydays, spending, net worth, your credit reports compared, monthly statements and a full export — with up to 3 bank logins updated morning and evening and unlimited imports.

What does Premium add for $8?

A household and a business: sharing with a partner with privacy per account, whose paycheck each deposit is, settle up, pay stubs read, a company's books, the tax year modelled, and notices when something needs you. Up to 10 bank logins.

Why per person?

Because each person who keeps books costs us the same to serve. Someone who only views — a partner who just wants to look, your accountant — is free.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: 30 days, no card, from the day your account opens. You are never charged without being shown the price and the renewal terms and saying yes.

When can I start?

Accounts are opening in waves, deliberately rather than quickly. Reserve a place and we will write to you when yours is ready. Reserving costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Can I cancel?

Yes, online, any time, in two clicks. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for, and you can take everything with you.

Can I leave with my data?

Yes. A full export of every account, transaction, balance and rule, in open formats, whenever you want it — including a double-entry journal an accountant can read. Deleting your household deletes it.

Does it show my credit score?

No. It reads your three credit reports — the part that decides a score — and shows where they disagree. It does not buy or estimate scores.

Is this financial or tax advice?

No. Panorama shows you what your own records say and what they add up to. It is not advice, and the tax figures are models, labelled as models.

Who makes it?

8th Wave Media LLC, a small independent company. Panorama was built to run its founder's own household and business books first, and it still does.

Ready when you are.

Reserving costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
